Common questions
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No. You can book straight in. You only need a GP referral if you want the session bulk billed under a care plan.
How long is the first appointment?
About 40 minutes. We work out what is wrong, treatment starts in the same visit, and you leave with a plan: roughly how many sessions it should take and what to do between them.
Is it bulk billed?
If your GP has referred you under a Chronic Condition Management Plan, yes. We bulk bill the session in full, with no gap. How care plans work.
Can I claim on my private health insurance?
Yes. We claim on the spot with HICAPS, so you only pay the gap on the day. Health funds we work with.
Do you have evening appointments?
Yes. The Seaton clinic is open Mon–Fri 8:00am – 7:00pm, Sat 8:00am – 12:00pm, Sun by appointment.
