Arm
Elbow and forearm pain usually comes from load: too much, too soon, or the same movement too often. Treatment is rarely about rest alone, because tendons need the right kind of loading to recover properly.
What we treat
- Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylalgia)
- Golfer's elbow (medial epicondylalgia)
- Forearm and grip-related overuse pain
- Nerve entrapment around the elbow
- Post-fracture and post-surgical elbow rehab
- Biceps and triceps tendon strain
Signs and symptoms
- Pain on the outside or inside of the elbow
- Weak or painful grip, dropping things
- Pain when lifting, gripping or turning a doorknob
- Tenderness to touch over the bony point of the elbow
- Aching that spreads down the forearm
How we treat it
- Progressive tendon loading programs
- Soft tissue release and dry needling
- Shockwave therapy for long-standing tendinopathy
- Bracing or taping where it helps offload
- Technique and equipment review for work or sport
This page is general information, not a diagnosis. Symptoms overlap between conditions, so the right treatment depends on an assessment. If your pain followed a significant injury, is getting worse, or comes with numbness, weakness or unexplained weight loss, please see your GP.
