UpPlus Physiotherapy claims through HICAPS, which covers every registered private health fund in Australia. Whichever card you carry, your physiotherapy rebate comes off at reception and you pay only the gap — there is nothing to post and nothing to claim back later.

With Medibank, HCF and nib we hold a preferred provider agreement, which usually means a higher benefit and a smaller gap for their members. Because nib also underwrites Suncorp, AAMI, Apia, GU Health and Qantas health cover, those members generally get the same benefit — even though nothing on the card says nib.

How claiming works

• Bring your card. The physical card, or the digital one in your fund's app.
• No referral needed. Physiotherapy is direct access in Australia — you can book straight in.
• We swipe it at reception. Your rebate is deducted immediately.
• You pay the gap by card, on the day.

Not using private health cover?

You don't need private cover to see us. We also treat patients under Medicare care plans, DVA, NDIS and WorkCover, and we see self-funded patients every day. Our payment options page sets out each one.
