Knee
Knees take load from both the hip and the foot, so treating the knee alone often is not enough. We assess the whole chain, then build a plan that gets you back to what you actually want to do.
What we treat
- ACL, MCL and other ligament injuries
- Meniscus (cartilage) tears
- Patellofemoral pain and runner's knee
- Knee osteoarthritis
- Patellar and quadriceps tendinopathy
- Pre and post knee replacement or reconstruction rehab
Signs and symptoms
- Pain at the front of the knee on stairs or squatting
- Swelling that comes on after activity
- Locking, catching or the knee giving way
- Stiffness after sitting for a while
- Reduced confidence on uneven ground
How we treat it
- Quadriceps, hamstring and glute strengthening
- Movement and landing technique retraining
- Manual therapy and taping for symptom relief
- Structured return-to-run and return-to-sport plans
- Hydrotherapy for early-stage or post-operative loading
This page is general information, not a diagnosis. Symptoms overlap between conditions, so the right treatment depends on an assessment. If your pain followed a significant injury, is getting worse, or comes with numbness, weakness or unexplained weight loss, please see your GP.
