Physiotherapy Stepney

No. You can book a physiotherapy appointment yourself, without seeing a doctor first. A referral only comes into it for particular funding arrangements — a GP care plan, DVA, or a WorkCover claim — and each of those is explained on our payment options page.

Appointments at Stepney are held in Horizon Medical Centre's own diary, so they are booked through the practice — online, or by calling (08) 7118 4444. The practice also handles rescheduling and cancellations for this location.

It depends on how the visit is funded. Sessions under a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan are bulk billed, so there is nothing to pay on the day. Private health members claim on the spot and pay only the gap. NDIS, DVA and WorkCover are billed directly.
