Physiotherapy for GMHBA Members in Seaton
GMHBA accepted — claim on the spot
A Victorian fund that claims perfectly well in Adelaide.
UpPlus Physiotherapy in Seaton treats GMHBA members and claims at reception through HICAPS, so your rebate comes off immediately and you pay only the gap. No referral is needed to book.
GMHBA members living in Adelaide sometimes assume a Victorian fund will not claim locally. It does: extras cover is national, and we process it at reception like any other card.
Claiming your GMHBA rebate at UpPlus
We claim at reception through HICAPS, so your GMHBA rebate is deducted immediately and you pay only the difference by card. Nothing is posted, nothing is reimbursed weeks later, and you leave with the claim already settled.
- Bring your fund card — the physical card or the one in your fund's app.
- No referral required. Physiotherapy is a direct-access profession in Australia.
- Pay the gap only, by card, on the day.
- Tell us if you are near your annual limit so we can plan treatment around it.

How GMHBA extras handle physiotherapy
GMHBA's extras cover pays a benefit per physiotherapy consultation up to an annual limit, both set by the tier you hold. GMHBA runs its own preferred provider arrangements in some regions, concentrated around Victoria — an Adelaide member is usually claiming the standard benefit for their cover, which is the same at any clinic here.
Who GMHBA covers
GMHBA is a not-for-profit fund founded in Geelong in 1934 and open to members across Australia. It also owns Frank Health Insurance, which is sold as its own brand with its own product range.
Frank Health Insurance is part of GMHBA but runs its own policies — see our Frank page if that is the card you hold.
Whatever your cover, we treat back and neck pain, shoulder and knee problems, sporting injuries and post-operative rehabilitation at our Seaton clinic — including dry needling, shockwave therapy and hydrotherapy.
